Introduction

UnrealText is a project that synthesizes scene text images using 3D graphics engine. This repository accompanies our paper: UnrealText: Synthesizing Realistic Scene Text Images from the Unreal World [PDF].

Large-scale Latin/English and multilingual synthetic scene text datasets
Source code and instructions on how to use them
Demo UE project and all 30 precompiled scene executables
Re-annotated scene text recognition dataset used in our evaluation
